für Silizium-Mikrosysteme GmbH) is a leading edge micro technology company specializing in
microfluidic laboratory automation and arraying equipment.
Our product lines feature fluid dosage and pipetting equipment down to the pico level, allowing
the application of droplets the size of dust particles (less than 100 pico liters, measuring 60 µm
in size). Our highly specialized technology is widely used in applying large numbers of samples
onto flat or into three-dimensional media, from glass slides to bio chips and bio sensors.
We also develop and produce microfluidic components, such as flow-through-chips, micro valves,
micro sensors and application specific micro manifolds, e.g. observation cells for microscopic
applications.
Many of our key components consist of silicon, glass, ceramics and high-tech plastics. They are
manufactured in our own state-of-the-art clean room environments to ensure the highest quality
standards. Our services include extensive expertise in integrating our microfluidic systems and
