Precise to the nanometer - IBF- systems
Our mature systems for ultraprecise corrections of the forms of surfaces by means of ion beams make it possible for highest – grade surfaces to be manufactured. The manufacturers of precision optics who are best renowned throughout the world trust in our plant technology.
Already in 1991, when nobody was talking about nanotechnology, we began to develop plants to optimize surfaces by using ion beams. This method leaves neither
traces nor tensions on the surface. Nearly every geometry and material can be treated. Our low maintenance machines only cause low operating costs, and work nearly abrasion – free / wear – free. The oldest IBF plants manufactured in our
company have been in continuous duty for nearly two decades now.
The technology owes its origin to the demands the semiconductor industry placed on the lenses of the stepper objectives which are used for lithographic purposes. Here,
first our systems “IBF-300“ and “IBF-450” were used to produce lenses & optics with diameters of 300mm respectively 450mm. “IBF-700” was the result of the demand for larger optics; with the “IBF-700” you can treat work pieces of diameters up to 700mm, and of a weight of over 100kg per piece.
In the meantime also classical optics demands better and better surfaces. Our “IBF-100” that has been developed especially for this purpose, provides ultraprecise surfaces and ultrashort processing times for surfaces with diameters between 5mm
and 70mm.
A new member of our product range is the “IBF-1500” for the treatment of large mirrors for astronomical purposes.

Experience for a broad range: particle acclerators
For many years we have been manufacturing particle accelerators for the most different sectors.
Extreme intensities of beams of up to 4 MeV are requested e. g. in fundamental research, and for material tests of fusion reactors. In this sector our developments progressed a great deal especially in most recent times due to close collaboration
with leading research institutions.
We specialize in RFQ accelerators NTG’s long runner is used in several heavy ions systems for cancer therapy; further systems are planned. In this sensitive field of application we offer the highest precision and reliability.
Profound knowledge of the void: vacuum technology
Vacuum applications and components belong to our core competences – for many projects and for many different products.
We have the suitable solution for every application: coating chambers according to your specifications, rectangular chambers, cylindrical chambers whose diameters
range from several centimetres to 2.50m, UHV chambers with all kinds of flange insertions. In addition, we offer nearly all accessories for UHV chambers.

NTG Neue Technologien GmbH is a worldwide operating mechanical engineering company located in the heart of the european Union. The company was founded in 1968. Actually approx. 85 employees are doing their best to satisfy our customers.
The company fulfills all the requirements according to DIN EN ISO 9001, KTA 1401, DIN EN ISO 13485, SVTI 704, ÖNORM M 7812-1 and additional agreements concerning development, design, calculation and preparation of documents for preliminary survey, purchase of specified material and acid cleaning according to DIN 25410.
