WITec is a manufacturer of high resolution optical and scanning probe microscopy solutions for Nanotechnology, Nano-Optics, Life Science, Semiconductor Research, or Materials Science. WITec offers the scanning near-field optical microscope AlphaSNOM. In near field microscopy, the resolution is not limited by the optical diffraction limit. The AlphaSNOM uses unique cantilever technology for easiest handling and highest precision. The design of the AlphaSNOM features a Confocal Microscope (CM), a Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscope (SNOM) and an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) in one single instrument. The WITec Confocal Raman Microscope CRM 200 is designed for highest sensitivity and
resolution. The CRM 200 offers the unique ability to acquire chemical information in a non-destructive way with a resolution down to the optical diffraction limit (down to 200 nm). This allows the user to observe and analyse the distribution of different phases within a sample in
ambient conditions without sophisticated sample preparation. Because of the confocal set-up
it is not only possible to collect information from the sample surface but also to look deep inside transparent samples and even obtain 3D information. The Mercury 100 is a AFM system for the materials research and nanotechnology market. It integrates the Digital Pulsed Force Mode and is ideally suited to investigate topographical structures at the nanometer scale along with local surface properties such as local stiffness and adhesion.
