Creavac

creavac.pngCREAVAC has joined the long tradition of vacuum coating technology in Dresden. The goal of the company was to distinguish itself in the field of metallic coating of plastic parts, using PVD technology. Since then the manufacturing profile has expanded considerably. In addition to job coatings, other important CREAVAC contributions in the field of new vacuum coating technologies include equipment design and construction, as well as research and development.
In the field of job coatings, the lacquering of plastic components and also vacuum metallisation, have recently gained considerably in importance. In the area of PVD (physical vapour deposition)coating of plastics, key competences include, in addition to decorative coatings especially partially transparent IR-reflective coatings, solderable coatings and decisive for marketable ESD and EMI coating technologies.

In addition to lacquering and metallisation, further requirements led to further technologies for complex surface refining of plastic components, such as laser engraving, Tampon printing, assembly and testing operations, as well as packaging to customer requirements. In the area of vacuum coating plant construction, CREAVAC focuses mainly on technologically oriented specialist solutions such as precision layer equipment for applications in the microelectronics industry, specialised EMI coating equipment, highly productive automated shortcycle metallisation equipment and other systems. A complete new System with the name
“CREAMET rapid smc” (smc: surface machining centre) offer a new surface technology for complete automatic treatment for all manufacturing steps for decorative metallizing (basic lacquering - PVD "physical vapour deposition" coating - top paint and possible other treatment steps).

New thermal vaporisation systems are becoming more important, in addition to electron beam evaporation and arc-beam evaporation systems as well as sputter coating systems.

In addition to vacuum coating equipment, the company also offers in-house developments in the field of vacuum coating components. To this category belong, amongst others, continuous thermal vaporisation systems for batching equipment, a series of angle valves ranging in size from 400mm to 1000mm, as well as highly effective and economical port view glasses. Coating equipment is marketed under the brand name CREAMET and shielding technology under the brand name CREASHIELD. It goes without saying that a continuous technological consultation and a comprehensive after-sales service is part of job performance.
Quality assurance plays a central role at CREAVAC. For many years the company has enjoyed DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certification, the most important products being arranged in accordance with DIN ISO 16 949. A UL- Product certification in accordance with UL 746C can be referred to for a multitude of EMI layer material combinations.
