nanoFlexx GmbH, a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology, is a company that designs, manufactures and markets technically complex structures. These are embossed onto many different types of film to provide functionality. The unique process on offer is a roll to roll embossing mode that takes a special UV lacquer as the carrier.Customers benefit from a comprehensive range of products: nano & micro structures for various functions such as light guidance, reflective surface or antireflection, Fresnel lense, etc. The offer also includes the creation of the essential master and production of nickel shims to emboss the specific structures onto different types of film, e.g. PET, ABS, PMMA, BOPP, Polycarbonate and many more. nanoFlexx supplies the embossed film on 400mm net width to be converted or laminated onto any surface of interest. In addition, customers are welcome to order nickel shims for their own purposes.
