FISBA Software Solutions for Optical Metrology The FISBA OPTIK GmbH (Berlin, Germany) was founded in 1998 as a subsidiary of FISBA OPTIK AG (Switzerland). In Berlin we work on research and development in the field of optical metrology. The focus of our work is software engineering for topography measurements on optical surfaces. Our popular µShapeTM software supports a great variety of interferometers and similar optical instruments worldwide. It controls system hardware, collects and analyzes surface topography data or wave fronts, and provides a visual representation of the data. The software can be adapted to most measurement applications and offers a modern interface for external control for e.g. LabVIEW v8. Software Adaptation and Software DevelopmentOur software products are continuously adapted and updated to meet the current hard- and software requirements of our customers. We offer upgrades of existing software and customized adaptations. We also offer completely new versions for other optical measurement equipment or methods to assist you in your measuring tasks. Furthermore we have many years of experience in measuring complex surfaces like aspheres, cylinders and torics. Retrofitting of Existing InterferometersOur μShape™ Generic Package provides you with a simple low-cost way to modernize your present interferometer. The standard package includes μShape™ software, a frame grabber and an amplifier to drive a piezo element. It was designed for use with most commercial as well as custom-built phase-measuring interferometers. We would be happy to help you improve your existing equipment with advice and additional components such as cameras or a phase-shifter if necessary. With that package you can change your interferometer from pure visual inspection to a modern computer-controlled digitally measuring system.
