Nanolytics is a service lab for colloidal analysis. We offer comprehensive characterization of colloidal systems. We deal with particle dispersions, macromolecules and biomolecules. Target properties are molecular mass, diameter and density. All target properties are available as distributions. Our core competence and favourite method is Analytical Ultracentrifugation (AUC). AUC is an absolute method, no calibration is necessary. No interactions with a stationary phase will occur, and but small samples amounts are required.
AUC is also feasible for investigations on interactions and molecular assembly. Molecular masses are obtained in high precision. For characterization of biological systems, AUC is often method of choice. But in addition to this traditional field of application where AUC has been in use for decades, new fields as to colloidal systems in pharmacy, material science, polymer chemistry and others are emerging.
As an Analytical Ultracentrifuge induces high installation cost and requires extensive expertise in running and evaluating experiments, it is only found in institutio nal research and few large companies. Nanolytics offers service measurements on this method. As we bundle the demand for AUC, we can offer measurements on a sophisticated instrument at a most reasonable rate.
Among our other instruments, we feature Static and Dymamic Light Scattering on high experimental standard, including goniometer and a 488nm/2W- Laser.
