With its NanosVir® delivery technology responsif offers exclusive and proprietary nanoparticular delivery technologies for application in the field of cancer vaccines (main activities) and in the area of vaccine development against infectious diseases.

The two main NanosVir® delivery technologies represent (i) protein-based nanoparticles (non-infectious, non-replicating virus-like-particles w/o viral DNA) consisting of the major and minor coat proteins VP1 and VP2/VP3, respectively, of murine polyomavirus for protein encapsulation and (ii) solely VP1-based nanostructured carriers for protein/peptide display on the particle surface.

Depending on the field of R&D application these nanoparticles are recombinantly expressed in yeast or in Escherichia coli. The manufacturing process for the nanoparticulate structures is scalable and transferable to cGMP production facilities. For exploratory projects responsif may initially offer fee-for-service contracts for NanosVir® delivery of customer-specific protein/peptide/multi-epitope entities. Based on our strong intellectual property position for the NanosVir® technology such contract can be extended to long-term business models (e.g. royalty-based models or joint-ventures).
